There is a part within the wand that has proven to be prone to breakages and this aluminum wand can then disconnect from the vacuum’s handle completely. Not only could this cause problems and potential injury by being loose and unreliable, there is the concern that the metal wand could still hold an electric charge and users could be in danger of electric shocks. As things stand, there have been 62 reports of wand disconnections and no reports of injury but Shark are not taking any risks here and have issued this recall.

Is your vacuum affected by this Shark vacuum recall?
